BASIC FUNCTION:
Development of PE and PP Film products by leading or participating in innovation projects in areas of interest and leading and participating in other R&D or business application
developments. Responsible for up-scaling, evaluating, testing and approving quality and performance of new grades in Borouge. Responsible for coaching functional teams to ensure
effective product development targets in respective fields are met.
Specify minimum acceptable qualifications, experiences and skills:
1. Minimum Educational qualifications: Graduate (MS or PhD) in Chemistry, Polymer Science or a related discipline
2. Minimum years of relevant experience: Minimum 5 years experience in PO materials (more focus on PP) R&D related to the film industry (cast, blown)
3. Technology know-how (systems, machinery, equipment, etc.):
Excellent polymer structure / property / application relationship knowledge for PE and PP
Good knowledge of plastic markets and applications
Good knowledge of polymer technologies, catalysts, and additives
Good knowledge of plastics processing, testing and analytical techniques
4. Supervisory skills:
Project management capability and knowledge
Planning, prioritization ,communication (oral & written), presentation, accuracy, coaching, and feedback
5. Other ‘must-have’ skills / competencies:
Good knowledge of IPR patenting process and patent writing
Must be innovative, creative and have the ability to think analytically

Candidate needs to have the right experience preferably working with one of the leading polyolefin producers with direct relevance to Polyolefin Film. The potential candidate should
have the flexibility to spend time initially in Linz Austria before eventually moving to Abu Dhabi
