Qualifications & Experience:
¿ The incumbent should be a senior seasoned process or maintenance professional (minimum of 10 years of line experience) in one of the four main technical disciplines within the hydrocarbon or chemical processing industries.
¿ He should have worked on or trained for Flash Gas compression, Gas injection and Desalters.
¿ He should have worked in a supervisory Training role in upstream Oil and Gas industry.
¿ Not less than 3 years of experience as an OJT coordinator.
Higher education
¿ Hold a first degree (or equivalent).
¿ Hold a training qualification
Main Accountabilities:
The incumbent is accountable for all Training in the Darquain Phase 2 plant and surrounding facilities and rigs. The key areas of accountability are as listed below:
¿ Theoretical Training
Work with the discipline trainers and the vendor operational manuals to produce a three month introductory course into the Darquain Phase 2 process and technology, reflecting the actual plant and equipment that will be in use as well as being acceptable to site management. This course to be run twice for groups of up to 22 trainees.
Develop and Maintain OJT Programmes for Phase 2
Develop, document and implement OJT schemes for each discipline in liaison with each OJT discipline trainer, ensuring objectives of client and constraints of line management are kept in mind. Develop simple checklist system to record trainees¿ achievement of each required competence and maintain progress records. Report on overall % completion by group of agreed OJT programme. Hold weekly meetings with OJT trainers to resolve issues and to check on achievement. Carry our regular spot checks of OJT activities both on day and night shift in order to ensure conformance to agreed OJT activities.
¿ Act as HSE site advisor for Phase 2 Training
Ensure all OJT activities are carried out in accordance with corporate HSE policies and practice. Maintain records of necessary HSE training for trainees and trainers and ensure they are up to date. Run HSE training programs for Training department staff and trainees as required. Liaise with site HSE manager on issues around HSE on the plant. Advise the training department coordinator and manager on HSE issues regarding training activities.
¿ Represent THE COMPANY training department
Liaise with line operational, maintenance and drilling managers to ensure they fully understand all OJT activities and buy into them. Represent the operational constraints of these managers in the planning of OJT and ensure their requirements are met and communicated to training management. Attend meetings on site or at Ahwaz training centre as required. Represent Ahwaz Training centre on site as required by either site management or Ahwaz training centre.
