- Ensure definition, dissemination and update of "discipline" procedures and standards for design, construction and optimization of production plants;
- Promote, for each pertinent field, the standardization, coding and dissemination of the best operative methods and the definition of best practices and performances indicators on the specific "discipline";
- Capitalize the experience and the company know-how in the fields of study, design, construction and maintenance of systems and facilities for the production and operation of the plants;
- Support the coordination of the activities of technical audit and internal and external benchmarking, the qualification of the strategic suppliers, the structuring and dissemination of feedback on the specific "discipline";
- Support Project engineers during the revision process/approval of key documents like: Basis Design, Design Criteria, General Philosophies, Plot Plans, PFD and be involved in HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, 3D Model Review;
- Concur with ESG ..discipline" Engineers in case of deviations of Technical Standards;
- Monitor services and specialized studies for the development of the projects, as required by the projects to ensure compliance with company standards for the specific "discipline";
- Ensure constant liaison with the competent "discipline" specialist for all the technical aspects of company activities.
- An Engineer or technical degree;
- Experience in Project Engineering in a major oil and gas company;
- Not less than 10 years of working experience in oil & gas industry, both offshore and onshore;
- Not less than 3 years of experience working with contractors and supervising the contractors;
- Working in a prior similar role is highly recommended;
- Experience in coordination and follow up of Scope of Work to be performed by external Contractors;
- Strong technical experience relevant to the specified discipline in major oil & gas projects;
- Ability to read, understand, interpret and write reports and documentation;
- Good communication skills at all levels;
- Experience of working in multi-national environment.
