Location: Mellitah, Libya (Gas Plant)
Contract: 1 year (renewable)
Position: Rotational (Site Job)
Rotation: 42 days on / 21 days off
Salary: Euro 190 - 210 / worked day
Starting Date: ASAP
Job Description
Under direction of Engineering Superintendent must constantly monitor the process devices, collecting data and evaluating their yields and misbehave causes and alternatives in case of early failures
Tasks (Activities)
Operation responsibilities :
• To collect data from the operation and the maintenance crew
• To create a record with this data and use them to estimate the residual life of machinery and to promptly alert the maintenance service in case of inappropriate maintenance scheduling
• To co-operate with the maintenance crew to establish the criticality of the devices belonging to his discipline
• To prepare and study a fault tree in order to find and eliminate bottle necks in the process items
• To periodically evaluate the expected results with the goals achieved
• To evaluate the discrepancies and propose corrective actions
• To investigate in case of unexpected failures
• To give assistance to the operation and maintenance crew explaining machinery peculiarities
• To participate in the training of process staff
• To weekly report to his direct superior
• ensuring that all aspects of an operation or process meet specified regulations;
• working closely with Lab Supervisor for the quality and safety aspect
Method responsibilities:
• Guarantee the plant functionality and its perform ,as definite;
• Propose upgrading activities in according with departmental and business plans to Engineering Superintendent.
Team management responsibilities:
• Ensures the knowledge about the plant procedures and care their updating for guarantee the right utility conduction;
• To always work observing the safety regulations.

Required Qualifications & Background
• Engineer Diploma
• 5 years’ experience with similar equipment preferably in the oil or petrochemical industries
• Knowledge of safety, environment & quality regulations, rotating machinery and industrial HVAC
• Ability to lead and motivate a multinational team and to manage heavy level of production.
• Ability to work independently and to maintain good relations with colleagues and others
• Physical ability to work on offshore and remote onshore installations under a hot and wet climate.
