In this challenging position you will optimize business process through process re-engineering and process optimization in order to significantly improve quality and cost
Responsibilities:
- Setting up a factory environment for service jobs with right metrics in place
- Measuring utilization, efficiency and cost per transaction
- Capacity planning and control
- Manpower planning and control
- Resource (Head Counts) estimation for different processes in Bucharest Center by using work measurement techniques like time studies, Computer Simulation etc
- Identifying Value Added/ Non Value Added processes/ work elements in different processes by using IE methodologies like Process Mapping, Value Engineering, Lean Principles etc
- Providing Production Planning Methodology proven successful in manufacturing atmosphere suitable for Service Jobs
- Providing with methodolgy for resource utilization, efficiency, system losses & Productivity metrics for base-lining and future improvements
- Driving / Participating in projects in BPM (Business Performance Management) Programs along with Quality, Operations, Process teams to improve productivity of the processes
Your profile:
- Engineering background preferably in Industrial Engineering (or Mechanical, Production Engineering but with appropriate experience)
- At least 3 years experience in Industrial Engineering (conducting time studies, accessing/defining a process/department's capacity to process, doing VA/NVA analysis for the process, identifying and driving efficiency improvements ideas)
- Operations Management experience (Production Planning, Quality, Process Engineering) is an advantage
- Knowledge in Six Sigma tools is an advantage
- Experience in Consumer Durables, Automobiles, Consumer Products sectors is an advantage
- Ability to communicate to senior management
- Analytical-people orientation
- Questioning / probing skills
