HOW DO WE DO THAT?
One year in Cambric Brasov followed by a long term period (three years) of working in USA.
We involve you in advanced designing projects for components of different vehicles: engines, body, cabs, transmissions, hydraulic transmissions for tractors, trucks, bulldozers, excavators etc. You will create models in Pro/E WF2 as Design Engineer; you will be part of our CATERPILLAR EXCELLENCE CENTRE along with experienced design engineers from Cambric Brasov. This will be for one year in Cambric Brasov. During this period Cambric will apply for your long term Work Visa for USA. Then we will plug you in to our client organization as “Liaison” – Project Manager. This will be for long term (three years) in Cambric USA.
WHAT IS THE LIAISON’S JOB DESCRIPTION?
- Works along with our client design team at the client location using PRO/Engineer;
- Project manager within customer organizations: receive design themes from the client, negotiate the budget and the delivery date for the project, send the project requirements to the support team at Cambric Romania, track down information requests, deliver and sustain the project to the customer and send feed-back from the client to the support team in Cambric Romania.
WHAT DO WE MEAN BY A GOOD ENGINEER?
Lets face it, engineering is dynamic; WE DON’T NEED “FROZEN” DESIGNS ENGINEERS. We need you to be close enough to the process, to our client and to our team in order to provide the critical communication that is necessary to pulling together a world-class product. So you will be:
- A mechanical engineer with minimum 3 years design or manufacturing experience in automotive industry;
- An advanced user of Pro/E, with a minimum 3 years of experience;
- Proficient in spoken and written English;
- Good negotiator, strong analytical and problem solving person;
- Dynamic person with a proactive attitude;
Experience in design engineering for CATERPILLAR it’s a plus (best practice, internal standards etc.)

WE DEVELOP our partnership with our clients by enlarging our Liaison – Project Managers team, which is placed within client’s organization. Our team is composed at the moment by 200 engineers in Brasov and Craiova and 35 Liaisons in USA.
