• under Power Generation & Distribution Superintendent authority, operate on Power Plant, leading and supervising Power Generation Foreman, acting as a mediator between Superintendent and Foremen
• guarantee the efficiency of the plant, coordinating the maintenance, safety and products control activities
• assure compliance with Safety and Statutory regulations and ensure that safe working conditions are enforced
• perform coaching and on-the-job training, when required
• Evaluating that internal and external operating parameters are within the process envelope and take action in case of anomalies
• Ensuring allocated work is supported with the appropriate work and safety instructions and that these are adhered to in the completion of the tasks
• Ensuring the issue of appropriate documentation for maintenance work e.g. requests, permits, isolations, etc
• Taking the necessary actions to support the achievement of targeted production rates
• Promoting a positive safety culture and coordinating supporting activities e.g. safety operations, etc
• Compiling and completing the relevant reports of activities e.g. shift logbook and ensuring that all relevant documentation is completed accurately and on time
• Clearly informing and instructing plant personnel about maintenance programs
• Contributing to the assessment and training of personnel
• Coordinating the maintenance activities in critical areas requiring hot works, confined spaces, moving/loading equipment, etc.
• Power or Electrical Engineering Diploma
• experience in Oil & Gas industry would be an advantage
• solid knowledge of electric power generation and distribution systems
• minimum 2 years working in similar position
• good knowledge of written/spoken English
• computer skills
• team leading skills
