Planning Engineer: To provide planning expertise for maintenance of plant equipment including major turn rounds and shutdowns and associated projects. The planning section is a focal point for supervising and controlling planning/scheduling activities for Rotating Equipment, Electrical /Control, Workshop & Static Equipment a etc. and to provides support to engineering sections.
The Planning Section generates and issues PM Plans for Mechanical, Electrical, Control, Condition Monitoring, Fire & Gas, Vehicles, Heavy Lifts and Mobile Equipment. It has a vital role in planning, preparing, organizing and controlling the planned turnarounds, shutdowns, and maintenance of static and rotating equipment in the plant.
The planner is a key person in these activities and is responsible for continuous improvement in day to day/shutdown cost effective planning/scheduling and providing support to engineering sections. It is a major challenge to maintain and improve efficiency of the NGL complex by a timely planning/scheduling and follow up of preventive and planned maintenance to avoid any unforeseen breakdown of plant equipment and keep the plant running in a safe manner. To improve the awareness and understanding of the MAXIMO system functions so that current problems of under utilization are cured and productivity is improved.
