We are looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of
PLANNING ENGINEER
JOB DESCRIPTION:
He reports to the Site Project Control Coordinator.
He ensures Construction planning by controlling deviations and prepares any reporting.
(Head Office)
To prepare the standard man-hour estimate based on design quantities and the established WBS and submit it to the Field Construction Manager for review;
To prepare the Gant, the CPM, the progress curves and the manpower curves, based on the instructions of the Construction Manager and to check the documents produced against past experience;
To initialize Field software for document management, material management, progress monitoring, collection of man-hours employed and measurement of Safety indices;

To update the Detailed Construction Schedule and other documents prepared at Head Office, according to the instructions of the Construction Manager;
To develop field activity schedules in greater detail, according to the instructions of the Field Superintendent, utilizing Company and Department software systems;
To collect and process work progress curves and identify delayed activities;
To arrange recovery plans with the Supervisors;
To collect man-hours employed and check the Contractor¿¿¿s efficiency trend against bid values;
To prepare construction monthly progress report.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE
We look for someone who has occupied an equivalent position, working on large size projects, preferably in the petrochemical field.
STUDIES
University graduation technological and science discipline.
LANGUAGE
English commercial level is mandatory

COMPUTER
Windows applications knowledge good level
Primavera Planning System, P3, CMMS, MAXIMO
Knowledge of:
Project Management, including Work plan & Budget, Project Planning, Risk analysis, Cost control - Budgeting, Project Management methodologies and techniques.
Problem solving abilities.

In septembrie 2006, PETROCONSULT a primit contractul de a construi, impreuna cu TECHNIP-Franta (Contractorul General EPC), prima rafinarie de petrol din Vietnam (6.5 MTA), la Dung Quat, Vietnamul Central.
PETROCONSULT furnizeaza si Servicii de Training pentru operare si mentenanta pentru aceasta rafinarie, lucrarile fiind in curs.
Compania a participat si participa la proiecte in domeniul industriei de petrol si gaze, in strainatate, in peste 25 de tari.
