We are looking for a Performance Test Specialist + a Performance Engineer for Finland.
As a Test Specialist, your role is to ensure the high quality of the customer's information systems by simulating business processes, verifying system functionality and performance, and continuously improving QA processes in software development. It is essential to understand the importance of testing and QA in business critical (web) application development.
As a Performance Engineer you have a very good understanding of software development and the software testing life cycle, as well as experience in applying software testing techniques, processes, and tools. You will work closely with applications subject matter experts, performance testers, and infrastructure experts on ensuring the performance of multiple internal and customer facing systems
Ensuring performance & scalability requirements, capacity planning
Performance prototyping. System performance design
Performance tuning, pointing out the problems and suggesting solutions
Support of Performance Test Specialist in analyzing test results and providing recommendations
Diagnose complicated performance issues and develop recommendations
Interface with customers for onsite performance optimization
Performance Test Specialist:
- J2EE knowledge
- Programming skills: e.g. C++, HTML, VB
- Networking skills, knowledge of network protocols
- Understanding / knowledge / experience in system testing
- Knowledge of servers / DB administration
- Knowledge of Mercury / HP testing tools e.g Load Runner
- Previous experience in performance analysis and tunning experience
- Previous experience in test management
- Excellent communication skills in English
Performance Engineer:
- Performance engineering / troubleshooting / problem solving
- Experience with multiple Web, DB, Network technologies
- 3-5 years prior application development experience
- Knowledge of common application infrastructure components
- Demonstrated experience with large scale application integration efforts
- Consulting work (senior level)
- Excellent communication skills in English
Nice to have:
- Technical degree (e.g. M.Sc. (eng), B.Sc.)
- Experience in software testing
- Ability to produce high quality documentation in English
- Analytical and systematic thinking
- Previous experience of working in Nokia / NSN (Preferably proven knowledge of Nokia/NSN related environments)
- Finnish speaking preferable
