- It has the infrastructure and technology to support order routing and connectivity to more than 50 exchanges worldwide, and manages a global sales force servicing clients in 37 countries.
- Our client is seeking to host its disaster and recovery system in Oslo. The primary system is based in Madrid.
- We are currently looking for an Operations Manager to work with the software and holding company based in Oslo, that will report to Head of Executions Services .
- Operate the proprietary OMS (Order-Management System)
- Contribute to the continuous development of the application suite
- Local Database administration
- DR planning and testing; handle the backup/fall over solution in a production environment
- Understand and document system processes within the company
- Continually revise and document internal procedures
- Work closely with traders and execution staff to identify problems where and when they happen
- Liaise with Madrid development team to further enhance the product
- Experience with databases programming language (Oracle, SQL)
- Knowledge of programming languages, preferably Visual Basic/C++; familiar with Unix environment, Firewall configuration
- Experience with real-time systems
- Technical documentation
- Work experience in a financial environment
- Applicable University Degree
- Fluent written and oral English
- Knowledge of Spanish language (spoken) is a plus
- Organized, self-driven and service minded
