Support customer programms (purchasing parts) during the application periods
Team member of the project core team
Assessment of technical concepts and construction details according to manufacturability and costs
Involvement of supplier know how through contact with the R&D dept of the supplier
Coordination of all activities concerning purchasing
Order and planning of project specific assembly schedule and basic agreements
Participation at the nomination of target prices and at the pricing process during the offer stage; responsible for requests
Price negotiation, cost control and activities to reach target costs
Participation at the setting of the project-timetable, particularly the dates for purchasing processes and ongoing tracking of the dates
Procurement according the relevant general conditions
Participation at concluding contracts and preparation of sourcing decisions of the Sourcing Committee
Regular reports on the projects
Coordination of construction changes with R&D, supplier and Purchasing Dept
Master degree in Engineering / Industrial Engineering
Fluent in Englisch and German
Excellent communication skills (reporting skills and oral communication)
MS Office and SAP R3
2-5 years experience in purchasing or project-management
