In our Enterprise Services organization we are looking for talented and highly motivated individual to fill Network Tools Engineer position. You would be a part of team managing tools used by our network organizations. The goal is :
• Improve operational processes by implementing, integrating and managing network monitoring and reporting tools
• Provide support on network tools
• Manage projects on technical level (coordinate and define tasks, control outcomes ...)
• Coordinate rollout of new tools (Manage tools deployment project )
• Train operational & engineering teams for new tools, processes and best practices
• Ensure documentation is up to date
• Ensure Process are followed according to standard
• Implement process optimization
• Proactively propose improvements towards higher efficiency and stability
• Contribute to tools roadmap and strategy using latest technology
• Able to start work shift later e.g. 10:00am CET to partially cover US (PST) time zone, based on planned schedule or meetings with US people (we offer work from home in case that meetings are in later hours)
Skills:
We are looking for a Network Tools Engineer with 2-5 years of experience working in an international, English speaking environment is an advantage. The candidate must have following knowledge/skills :
• Good Technical Expertise in IP Networks (LAN, WAN, Security, Internet, IP Management)
• Experience with VOIP (understanding VOIP technology, protocols …)
• Basic skills in UNIX/Windows environment
• Ability to write technical specifications for development team
• Experience in shell scripting
• Experience in software products integration
• Experience in some network monitoring tools like:
OpenView NNM
Clarus UNIMAX
or ability to quickly learn them (we have multiple openings so knowledge for all tools is not needed)
• Self driven, autonomous with good priority and time management
• Able to coordinate other technical people working on same project.
Language:
• English mandatory (technical English, read, written, spoken)
• Able to communicate with colleagues located in US
• Previous experience with international, English speaking environment is a plus
