RESPONSABILITATI

In this role you will be working to support customers who've outsourced the management of their IT infrastructure to HP. On a day to day basis you will provide remote 2nd level incident, partially change and problem management services and act as a subject matter expert by providing technical guidance in the event of any service escalations. You'll need to be pro-active and regularly analyze data at your disposal to help drive improvement in quality and productivity of services. You will also have to perform complex network changes involving different teams under guidance of DTS team.
You will be used to working to strictly governed service levels (SLA's) and following defined processes and Incident Management guidelines.

Main Tasks:
- to work on complex incidents,
- identify and solve problems,
- all change management in the environments under his/her responsibility
- define and execute work orders to implement changes,
- customer contact on the projects/tasks he/she is responsible for,
- provide consulting,
- implementation and system management,

To fulfil these tasks, regular standby and overtime work is expected.


CERINTE

- 2 - 3 years experience in IT operations and Network operations
- Cisco Certification to at least Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent experience
- Experience in troubleshooting a broad range of network technologies
- Strong expertise in at least one specific network technology
- Analytical and complex incident solving skills
- Understanding and clarifying customer needs
- Ability to coordinate complex network changes involving several different support teams
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Fluent English
- Strong communication skills

Technical Knowledge:
From a technical perspective you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:
-Troubleshooting and resolving firewall, WAN, LAN, DNS, caching and network security issues
-Administering TCP/IP LAN's (VLAN routing, VTP, Spanning Tree)
-Administering large-scale and complex WAN networks
-Troubleshooting skills in various technologies (Cisco, HP ProCurve, Checkpoint firewall, Nortel)
-Diagnosing network problems and maintaining network security

Advantages:
- Cisco Certification Network Professional (CCNP)
- Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Infrastructure Libraries (ITIL) processes
- Experience in HP OpenView, HP Procurve switches and knowledge of encryption and Virtual Private Networks would be a distinct advantage
