Manager of Olefins Plant operation in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Management of the Cracker Plant operation with respect to production target efficiency & safety, debottlenecking plant problems, organising training of manpower.
Responsible for preparation of feasibility report for gas cracker plant
Manage day to day operation of cracker plant, debottleneck plant problems to maintain production targets, planning shut down activities, executing schemes for operations flexibility and safe operation, training operating personnel.
Budgeting & production planning to achieve production / safety / cost and reliability targets of the plant.
Reporting to Head of Olefins
Working Hours = 63 hours per week (but see below re trips home)
Age Group - 48 - 55
Salary - Euros 4500 per month net including all allowances
Economy Ticket home 3 times per year for a maximum of 26 days at a time.

Target oriented manager with 18 - 20 years experience, including significant gas cracking exposure to lead a team of 23, including 3 direct reports. Must have above average English skills and be able to maintain efficiency targets, debottleneck plant problems, maintain plant safety and organise manpower training.
Must also be able to undertake budget and production planning to achieve production, safety, cost and reliability targets of the cracker plant.
Must also be:
-analytical decicion maker possessing solid technical and commercial acumen
- excellent project and time management skills
-strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
-ability to perform well under pressure
-ability to guide and motivate the entire team to the ultimate satisfaction of stakeholders
