• Leads and supervises the construction and maintenance activities for mechanical rotating equipments
• Leads the construction and start up (precommissioning and commissioning) activities
• Coordinates and assists the different vendors specialist for start up of various equipment power on
• coordinated the maintaining a daily Site Diary
• Handling all Technical queries and investigating all field mechanical related problems including the drawing of field sketches, when necessary, in accordance with Company’s rules
• Coordinated the preparation of ‘As Built’ drawings
• Ensuring that fully detailed documentation of all Mechanical – Rotating Equipments activities are raised and completed prior to handover
• Maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel working on the job site
• Coordinating with Engineering and Construction and liaise with the Client on detail engineering requirements
• Ensuring that all installation and commissioning procedure are agreed. Advising on all plant and tools required and on all specialist expertise which may be required
• Verifying that all items of equipment and associate materials meet the agreed technical specifications
• Ensuring that all equipment and materials not meeting the latest agreed specifications are returned to the stores and placed in a quarantine lay down area and to ensure that the Engineering Department/Material Controller are advised of discrepancies
• Agreeing all commissioning procedures and arranging for all required documentation to be drawn up
• Maintaining throughout the project, a record of any/all changes/modifications that have taken place, these records to take the form of marked-up drawings. On completion of sections of work, ensure that these drawings are handed over to the drawing office for action
• Coordination of installation and commissioning activities performed by the subcontractors
• Mechanical Engineering Degree
• relevant experience in mechanical engineering; previous experience in Oil & Gas Industry would be a plus
• 5 years experience in a similar position
• fluent knowledge of English
• good knowledge of MS Office
• good experience of mechanical system construction and installation
• good experience of commissioning activities and field test (petrochemical, refinery, oil & gas)
• good turn both to work in person and to act as team leader in order
