General We look for engineers with architecture experience in “Baseband” to join an R&D department of one of the top 3 mobile handsets suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of wireless standard specifications, as well as current related product solutions
- Synthesis of new practical base-band signal processing algorithms targeting improved performances and/or implementation efficiency of the base-band transceivers in ALU’s wireless products
Technical
- Proven track record in delivering baseband architecture and design
- Over 5 years in mobile telecoms architecture you will be familiar with Standards based protocols including lower layer protocols (RRC, MAC, etc)
- Must have experience in architecture or design of large scale commercial DSP/FPGA core and design methodology
- In-depth knowledge of baseband data-flow based on LTE
- In-depth knowledge of MIMO, OFDM technologies
- Experience working with high-performance embedded processors, particularly in system partition, system performance evaluation and test
Education
- Electronics & Telecommunications or Computers Faculty
Others
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
Nice to have requirements
- Previous experience as a Baseband Architect with Sony Ericsson LTE mobile terminals
