• Provide dependable and timely resolution to all product related technical issues experienced by our Customers. Interface with technical implementation teams which includes Application Developers, System Integrators, DBA’s and System Administrators
• Troubleshoot problems and respond to technical queries from Enterprise Customers
• Work closely with Customers and Ariba Engineering on escalated business critical technical issues Reproduce technical issues to facilitate a resolution.
• Champion Customer driven feedback to functional areas in order to influence process/product improvements.
• Author technical documents on common issues and solutions.
• Development of new tools for managing Ariba products at customer locations
• Development of new methods, approaches and tools efficiently managing Ariba projects and products.
• Team player and great attitude
• Strong communication skills Passionate about learning new technologies and helping customers solve product related issues, which include defects, errors, unexpected behaviors
• Passionate about development and programming
• Willing to take initiative and give full effort
• Knowledge of English, other languages a plus
• Experience with supporting and debugging enterprise level applications deployed on Windows and/or UNIX platforms required.
• SQL and Oracle database (would be a plus)
• JAVA programming
• Data warehousing (would be a plus) experience and knowledge of sourcing, procurement or analytical tools (would be a plus)
• XML and HTTP
• Weblogic/Websphere application servers
• Customer service skills (Communication, Customer Focus, Responsiveness, Case Management) would be of an advantage.
The role involves responsibilities in remote implementation and development or support and maintenance of Ariba solutions.
