RESPONSABILITATI

The ITAM Analyst I role may work under direction from an ITAM Asset Analyst II. The Asset Analyst role involves following and enforcing the ITAM Policies, Processes and Procedures for each specific customer account and acting as caretaker and administrator for the Asset Management data including all updates resulting from asset Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes and Disposals. This person is typically assigned more tactical and structured tasks relating to Asset Management.
Accountability
The ITAM Asset Analyst I has the following key accountabilities:
- Administer the Asset Life-cycle processes
- Manage asset data in the form of physical assets, software assets, leases and contracts, ensuring attributes are updated as a result of adherence to the Asset Management Processes & Procedures for both ad-hoc and bulk updates
- Ensure the data standards are maintained within the asset management repository
Responsibility
The ITAM Asset Analyst I has the following key responsibilities:
- Data entry - updates asset information via approved application interfaces
- Processing IMACD activity based updates to asset data
- Understand basic fundamentals of asset tools used to respond to non-technical questions on capabilities, such as reports, general asset management solution particulars such as standard fields, integration points & general configuration
- Respond to asset management queries from clients or HP staff
- Manage exceptions resulting from Asset Management Processes & Procedures
- Work with Procurement teams in relation to Procurement and Invoice data
- Work with the Finance & Admin teams in relation to Invoice, Lease and Customer Billing data
- Work with Lessors in relation to Lease data and co-ordinating end of lease asset returns
- Work with Delivery teams in relation to asset updates from IMACD activity
- Work with Project teams in relation to providing asset data for project planning and receiving asset updates as outputs from project activity
- Assist on projects teams including audits / physical inventories and Technology Refresh
- Prepare weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports as required by the client contract or internal HP
- Identify and escalate any asset process which may negatively impact the short/long term asset management objectives


CERINTE

- Customer and service oriented
- Strong computer and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, sorting, counts)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Access (basic queries, how relational databases work)
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent
- Procurement/leasing background (preferred)
- Experience in a similar position (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Visio (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint (preferred)
