RESPONSABILITATI

The main responsibilities may be:

SAN specialist (3rd level support):

Administration of SAN and SAN attached Disk storage (mainly Fibre channel)
SW and HW problems troubleshooting
Storage area network (SAN), network attached storage (NAS), DASD management, Storage media
Ensure data availability and system performance in enterprise environment

or

Server management Wintel (2nd level support):

Typical activities:
- Install the server operating system, system management software and operating system utilities
- Support the server operating system, system management software and operating system utilities, including upgrades
- Manage the operating system configuration
- Manage file systems and print queues
- Monitor and maintain operating system log files
- Recommend operating system updates and configuration modification
- Apply operating system patches as required
- Maintain tools for remote management and alert monitoring
- Maintain the hardware and software configuration server information
- Manage System ID¿¿¿s and domain structure
- Evaluate planned changes to the server environment and advise of any requirements to support such changes
- Provide system health check and trending reports (e.g. CPU, RAM, HDD)

Person in this position will be mainly responsible for some of these tasks:
- Intel server OS and base administration tasks
- Agent and software cliente management
- Backup control, disk space management, housekeeping, HW monitoring
- Performance and capacity management
- Reporting
- Antivirus management (where applicable)
- System Attack and detection (where aplicable)
- UID (Users IDs) management
- Health Checking
- SA&D

Delivery Compliance Administrator / Windows (2nd level support):

DCA is responsible for ensuring security compliance in servers infrastructure. DCA is dedicated team for Patch installation management, HealthChecks (deviation and remediation), Vulnerability scans, Antivirus administration and Service Activation and Deactivation process, APAR management.
Other Tasks:
-Problem resolution
-Change planning and execution
-Patch management
-Support other Service Delivery functions / roles when needed
-Execute the technical activities needed to provide the steady state service
-Perform detailed technical analysis on the Customer environment in order to -Proactively identify problems that can arise
-Understand the Customer Service behind technical components
-Define the detailed technical needs and plan them
-Strictly follow and implement the defined security rules
-Identify proper solutions to minimize service costs
-Activate the defined escalation path when needed
-Strictly follow all defined processes


CERINTE

For the best-known company from IT field the ideal candidate should have one of these experiences:

Engineers for 2nd level databases (Sybase, DB2, Oracle), Unix, Lotus Notes, mainframe and Windows.

or:

SAN 3rd level support:

SAN Attached Disk Storage, SAN Attached Tape Storage experience
At least 3 years experience in SAN/NAS services
General knowledge of Windows/Unix system administration
At least 1 year experience in Operating systems or Networking administration
Very good knowledge of English language

or: Server management Wintel (2nd level support):

High School Diploma/GED
At least 2 years experience in Windows / Wintel
English: Fluent

or

Delivery Compliance Administrator / Windows (2nd level support):

Bachelor's Degree
At least 2 years experience in Windows
English: Fluent
