- To identify and resolve potential security breaches and vulnerability issues in a timely and accurate fashion.
- To ensure the secure operation of the organization¿s computer systems, servers, and network connections.
- Conduct both network and user activity audits where required. Determining security needs, developing and implementing solutions, and creating and enforcing security policies are essential tasks for this position.
- At least one year experience;
Required Technical Skills/Experience:
- System level experience with IS infrastructure (Windows and/or Unix)
- Good understanding of IP networks (LAN, WAN) and network security
- Practical experience with firewall technologies
Preferred Technical Skills/ Experience
- Practical experience with configuration of VPN tunnels (preferably IPSec based)
- CISSP (Certified Information System Security Professional)
- Holder of SANS GIAC intermediate level certificates Experience in implementing
- Knowledge of ITIL support processes
