- Monitoring, inspecting and verifying the performance of the sub-contractors and their respect of time scheduling and task completion
- Following and controlling the maintenance of new/modified equipment system, machinery instrumentation
- Diagnosing faults and trends and taking or recommending appropriate corrective action
- Ensuring that Company and statutory safety requirements are adhered to in all instrumentation maintenance activities undertaken by Company personnel and external contractors
- Ensuring the provision of adequate resources to carry out activities e.g. special tools and materials for the technicians and/or additional specialist maintenance support
- Compiling, completing and submitting of reports and documentation to the required standards and at the relevant frequency
- Detailing approvals and work permits required prior to commencement of activities and shut-down needs
- University Degree in Instrumentation
- Minimum 5 years experience in Instrumentation, systems erection, Maintenance activities in Oil and Gas Industry to have included:
- knowledge of standard measurement techniques and instrument types
- knowledge of most used technologies, including relevant automatic controls and actuators
- experience in DCS, structure and utilization of signals, redundancy techniques, software control
- experience in advanced diagnostics on instrument devices and equipment
Required Competencies/ Skills:
- knowledge of data transmission, network (Field bus, Profi bus, etc)
- knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance techniques management
- management of sub-contractors
- Knowledge of international codes and regulations regarding instrumentation systems and equipment, with commitment to metrology rules
- Fluent spoken and written English
