• Co-ordinates and controls the work carried out by the teams and company officers
• Prepares diagrams and descriptions of the SMI systems
• Assist the Electrical/Instrumentation Superintendent in the start up of the plants
• Supplies technical data for the preparation of operating manuals to be supplied to the client
• Observes set operating programmers
• Applies safety and quality standards
• Controls that the material complies with project specifications
• Checks the material to be installed as keep the situation up-to-date
• Makes measurements of the unit assembled in order to draw up the accounts and keeps the progress of the work under control in accordance with the programmer
• Keeps the technical file of the activities underway (drawings, specifications etc.) up-to-date
• Notifies the superior of any delays in deliveries which could jeopardize the assembly programmer
• Ensures that safety laws and standards are observed
• Solves problems regarding the SMI installations along with the Client’s representative and/or sub-contractors
• Takes part in the final inspection and plant start-up activities.
• Technical qualification
• Minimum of 5 years experience in oil& gas production operations
• Medium level in both written and spoken English
