Instrument Supervisor: To supervise and participate in preventive, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance, of Instrument, Control Systems. Main responsibilities of the job are maintenance of the Instrumentation on Process Trains, Gas turbines, Gas Compressors, on line QMIs and Laboratory Instruments, plus Instrumentation on Utilities, Storage, SRU & Jetties, Power Generators, BOG compressor and entire plant Fire & Gas Detection and Deluge systems. Process Control systems may include ICS, DCS, ESD, Fire & Gas and Safety and general purpose PLCs for the control and protection of rotating equipment, along with field instrumentation consisting of various electronic transmitters, control valves and actuators. He possesses adequate process knowledge to prepare Activity Risk Assessment & Activity Sequence Control form, Method statement etc. To improve availability and reliability of instrumentation in his area, considering the age and obsolescence of some equipment Instruments and Controls. Update technical knowledge, adapt to new technology and keep abreast of latest technical advances. To help achieve Contract Performance Targets.
