Designs and implements image processing algorithms, searches academic and industry publications for up-to-date methods in image processing, develops solutions for theoretical and practical problems in digital photography.
Required skills:
- Image processing an technology experience (image formats, representation, compression methods, signal processing theory)
- MATLAB; general use, plus Signal Processing toolbox & Image Processing toolbox
- C programming language skills, data structures and algorithms
- Motivated and creative person, able to imagine, develop new algorithms and evaluate their performances
- Technical and conversational English skills
Additional skills (would be added advantage):
- C++ language is a plus
- Master or PhD diploma in a related field is a plus
- Knowledge of digital camera architecture and functionality,
- Ability to develop original solutions to known and unknown problems
