Directly responsable for the mentenance and upkeep of the vessel's Hotel electrical/mechanical machines with particular attention and priority to:
- Coffe Machines
- Juice/Blender Machines
- Ice Making Machines
- Water Fountains
- Guest/Crew Laundry Equipment
- Main Laundry Equipment
- Galley Equipment, Bar Pantries, Equipment (dish washers etc.)
- Gym Equipment
DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
- Perform the comprehensive electrical/electronic and mechanical maintenance, repair, routine testing and automation trouble shooting of the above equipment. Reporting to the Electronics officer onboard.
- Maintain current records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Help with the continuous updating and development of planned maintenance procedures through experience gained with each type of machine onboard.
- Ensure the inventory of strategic spare parts onboard is sufficient to adequately maintain each machine.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all hotel electrical, electronic and mechanical machines
- Participate in drills and training as required by the Company
- Any additional assignment as per Chief Engineer and/or Hotel Director discretion
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Technical education, Electrical/Electronic Diploma or Professional certificate and at least 1 years experience which is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Candidates without direct experience will be considered but must demonstrate a level of competency in a related electronic/electrical application
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Ability to maintain and repair electronically controlled machines.
- Ability to complete routine paperwork.
- Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
- Records maintenance skills.
