GOOD WINDS Marine Services is recruiting GUARANTEE ENGINEER for the well known Italian owner of passenger vessels, AIDA CRUISES.

Duties:
Planning and implementation of the entire technical operation of the warranty service on board in relation to the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance by contractors, companies and internal departments
Contact person onboard for the Superintendent ashore and all warranty contractors
Maintain and update the onboard claim database as well as coordinate the works of the suppliers onboard
Coordinate resolving of claims onboard / with ashore companies in addition to clarifying any open remarks onboard
Regular reporting on the claims onboard and continuous follow-up and support on resolving of the claims onboard

Requirements:
Bachelor degree or similar in engineering or similar technical fields, preferred STCW III-1, III-6
Minimum of 6 month professional experience in marine industry business, ideally in the guarantee maintenance sector as well as experience in junior leadership
Fluent oral and written English language and proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office as well as financial Entrepreneurial thinking and action as well as a high degree of result orientation and good communication skills.
