Genpact offers multiple employment opportunities in the following areas: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger with the possibility of relocating to Hungary - Budapest.
Accounts Payable:
- Process invoices / documents in the given infrastructure in a timely and accurate manner in relevant systems
- Interaction with Vendors / Clients to facilitate the accounts payable process (including updating database with Vendor data)
- Create and submit payment proposals diligently
- Ability to follow procedures and update in a professional manner
- Identify areas of improvement in the process
- Perform simple ad hoc reporting when required by client
- Communicate with Other Finance departments within the customer organization
Accounts Receivable:
- Apply payments (accurate and in a timely manner);
- Interface with Customer Accounts Payable departments to facilitate the collection process (including customer disputes);
- Identify areas of dispute through billing reconciliation;
- Determine gaps/errors which will facilitate payment;
- Collection of all outstanding receivables;
- Perform credit checks;
- Inform Sales/Management Team about delinquent accounts;
- Handle all blocked orders;
- Perform risk assessment for new and existing customers;
- Communicate with Customer Service/Sales Departments – cash calls;
General Ledger
- Develop accounting period-end timetables according to business guidelines
- Ensure that trial balance is reconciled at all the times, especially bank transactions, fixed assets accounts, accounts receivable and payable transactions
- Close & Reconcile sub ledgers: AP, AR, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Bank Accounts;
- Analyze and book recurring, reclassification and allocation of journal entries as per instructions from the business;
- Book accruals and provisions received from the client;
- Reconcile inter company;
- Prepare and send consolidation report to Corporate
- Preparation of working papers for VAT return
To be a part of our international team, you need to have:
- University Degree
- Fluency in German and English;
- Microsoft Office and Internet knowledge;
- Outstanding customer-orientation and team-spirit;
- Very good communication skills;
- Knowledge of accounting concepts;
- Previous experience in SAP system would be an asset.
- Experience in Finance and Accounting (2-3 years) compulsory for General Ledger
