As a member of the Application Maintenance Team, the Consultant serves as Ariba solutions specialist on application functionality and the underlying technology. Core to the Consultant’s skill set are strong analytical capabilities, very good verbal and written communication skills (in English), team spirit as well as the ability to work within the delivery team to provide the client with reliable service on a consistent basis.
Responsibilities:
Customer Focus
•Uses knowledge of customer’s business and industry to assess findings and shape solutions.
•Assists with identifying client issues
•Assists customers in the development of processes and procedures which leverage Ariba solution functionality being deployed.
•Shares knowledge and experience through training and communication to customers.
•Participates in project management tasks to provide deliverables are on time, within budget.
Teamwork
•Maintains regular communication with team members (e.g., face-to-face, conf. calls, IM’s, emails).
•Proactively identify and prevent possible issues that can have impact on successful solution delivery
•Works actively on establishing communication channels and relationship with the client
•Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or technical discipline or equivalent experience.
•Fluent English is a must, additional languages are a plus
•Good analytical, troubleshooting skills
•Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
•Ability to travel (should not extend a week in a month)
Desirable Skills/Knowledge
•Broad knowledge of spend management strategies and/or procurement, or sourcing
•Basic technical background and elementary knowledge of reporting (SQL)
