This position will manage cost accounting covering all facets of product costing and inventory management and will have responsibilities for manufacturing accounting and control. In this role, the individual will provide oversight for monthly accounting and reporting and coordination of financial analysis for the unit with the FP&A group in Cork, Ireland and Europe Controller based in Brussels, Belgium.
- Direct management oversight of a department of 3 individuals;
- Manage monthly closing and reporting process related to manufacturing accounting and costing, including evaluation of gross margin results by product and product segments;
- Ensure that financial reporting is timely and accurate and facilitates business unit decision making;
- Ensure site maintains compliance with US SOX requirements, meet statutory filing requirements, and coordinate and meet with external and internal audit and tax teams.
- Document current processes in light of lean administrative initiatives to minimize gaps in business continuity and controls and outsource business processes in coordination with European FC and implementation of Oracle ERP platform;
- Ensure that adequate internal financial controls exist in the business unit to safe guard company assets;
- Coordination of worldwide excess and obsolete analysis and lower-of-cost-or-market determination, including monitoring of inventory reserves and utilization;
- Work with FP&A to support the preparation of the annual operating budget for the division;
-Coordinate monthly P&L forecast for the business unit;
- Work with Sales/Marketing/New Product Development Groups to provide accurate financial analysis and costing for new products.
- Preferably degree in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance;
-ACCA is an advantage;
-Relevant controlling and reporting experience (2-3 years);
- Organized and disciplined in order to meet tight deadlines;

- Very good command of English.
