Mission Description:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Project Financial Controller in achieving the objectives of the finance mandate by providing adequate timely and transparent information, acting as the finance informed challenter and business partner, and helping to provide financial assurance.
The main tasks include:
• Analyising the evolution of Strategic Programs’ expenses and identifying trends and root causes of variations vs. plan;
• Helping the business project spending;
• Assisting the Committee in its investment decisions through validation of Bussines Cases, reporting on project implementation benefits, and reporting on roadmap expenses;
• Providing project input in the context of the annual company wide planning exercises;
• Issuing and commenting project financial expenses for Steering committee, Management committee, etc.;
• Take part to the Financial Transformation project.
Compulsory knowledge:
• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance;
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, or MBA;
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis;
• Strong knowledge of general ledger structure and accounting principles;
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Hyperion Essbase and Lawson, preferred.
