Mission: to co-ordinate and produce all aspects of the Structural / Civil / Piping design documentation across Company s assets through design / installation / commissioning / closeout phases
Tasks :
- assures the production of Detailed Structural and Civil Design Drawings
- produces and reviews detailed design drawings relating to the following subjects:
- Steel Structures one line Diagrams, Layouts, Sections and Details
- Structural Steel Calculation
- Building Layouts, Sections and Details
- Foundation Framework Drawings, Section and Details
- Foundation Steelwork Drawing, Sections and Details
- Material Take-offs
- As built Drawings from red-line mark-ups
- Red-line Mark-ups produced directly from field surveys
- Review / Approval of vendor documentation , relating to all aspects of Structural / Civil Design
- The supervision, technical direction, control and co-ordination of the engineering design and production of documentation within the discipline area on projects and tasks
- ensures that design activities meet Company s standards and are the produced in a timely and cost effective and economical manner
- liaises with on-site supervisor and operation staff to ensure the installation / commissioning phase of the project is executed in a safe, effective and economical manner
- provides coaching and support towards and development of local designers supporting the operations using company processes as appropriate
- adheres strictly to Company HSE Policy and promote a safety culture throughout the area of influence
- observes Company s labor, fire and safety regulations
Degree in Structural / Civil Engineering
10 years Structural / Design experience within the Petrochemical Industry
5 years minim experience using AutoCAD in a Petrochemical Engineering Design Office
Construction (site) experience on Petrochemical Facilities
General knowledge of hydrocarbon processing and plant infrastructure
Operating plant or facilities experience due to the potential of hydrocarbons and H2S in the existing facilities and well locations
Team Player, frequent integration with Engineers and Supervisors of all grades and nationalities
High degree of organization, technical and interpersonal skills
Ability to plan effectively and prioritize with deadlines often changing
Work is very often initiated at very short notice and pro-active decisive approach is required, enabling solutions to be implemented quickly in a safe, effective and economical manner.
Fluency in English is mandatory
