Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Field: Mining
The company is a green field project in the Dem. Rep. of Congo with a mine life of around 20 years.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for the overseeing of all Electrical Maintenance and repair activities in the Mobile Equipment Workshops.
Working with limited supervision this position will be required to:
¿ Maintain Environmental and Safety standards
¿ The supervision of all Electrical Maintenance and Repair activities on a varied fleet of Komatsu, Liebherr, CAT machines.
¿ Maintain staff development and training programs
The incumbent must:
¿ Have previous experience working in the fields noted above, preferably on Komatsu and Liebherr machines
¿ Posses a Relevant Electrical Trade Qualification
¿ Have a Minimum of 5 years appropriate experience
¿ Be diligent and thorough in their approach
¿ Work well in a team environment
¿ Possess good communication skills in English and French would be a benefit
¿ Be self motivated
¿ Have excellent Electrical skills in both Diagnostic and repair fields
¿ Have the ability to transfer knowledge to a National workforce
¿ Previous supervisory experience in a developing country preferred
