• Ensures modernisation works are carried out
• Prepares necessary justifications of technical re-equipment and development of electrical facilities, reconstruction and modernisation of electrical systems
• Carries out passportisation activities of all electrical equipment under installation
• Participates in testing exercises of all electrical facilities commissioning, in review process and analysis of equipment failures and develops arrangements to decrease the failures and ensuring safe labour conditions during its operations
• Ensures preparation of electrical facilities and other electrical equipment for commissioning activities, testing exercises and certification of electrical equipment by state authorities
• Participates in development and implementation of standards and technical requirements for electrical equipment and facilities’ operation
• Ensures compliance to HSE regulations during the commissioning works
• Prepares all the necessary technical reporting documentation
• Supervises the application of Company guidelines and Standards relevant to electrical field
• Manages the Resources and develop their professional competences.
• To provide safe and healthy conditions of work to subordinate personnel and control over the compliance by this personnel all safety and labour protection rules and regulations.
• Methodical and normative materials on exploitation of electrical equipment
• Perspectives of the technical development of the company
• Technical characteristics, regimes of operation and rules of exploitation of electrical equipment
• Methods of installation and repair of electrical equipment
• Basics of the oil& gas production
• Advanced domestic and foreign best practice on use and repair works of electrical equipment
• Basics of labour legislation
• Rules and norms of labour protection
• The job holder must have not less than 5-10 years experience of working in the oil and gas industry on the similar positions.
• Demonstrate excellent competency in literacy and numeric.
• Ability to work in multinational environment;
• Must have all-round understanding of modern electrical systems/techniques. Must develop a thorough understanding of local and international codes of practice, regulations, standards, etc.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and to liaise with other team members in the resolution of queries and disputes.
• Positive attitude & ability to work constructively within a multi-cultural team environment.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to quickly diagnose, analyse and solve a wide variety of problems in all the areas of maintaining a facility in a remote location. Must be able to plan and organise his work load effectively to ensure that problem areas are quickly and efficiently resolved.
