Electrical Engineer: To plan, supervise and coordinate all Maintenance activities for GASCO Plant Electrical equipment, to ensure availability and reliability. Main areas of responsibility for this position consist of engineering support in the preventive, corrective, troubleshooting, shutdown and major and minor maintenance activities, on various types of high and low voltage equipment and distribution systems, which power plant static and rotating equipment situated in designated areas. The gas processing sites may contain some or all of the following types of equipment: Gas Processing Trains, utilities, power generation, electrical workshops, transformers, sub-stations, distribution networks, cathodic protection, earthing systems and motor control centers for controlling various plant activities and functions. Other activities include electrical workshop repairs, and maintenance of HVAC equipment, UPS systems, battery banks and chargers, heavy lifting equipment, product storage facilities and tanker loading facilities, jetties and loading arms. Contacts for this position would commonly be Engineering, HSE and supervisory personnel, supervision of assigned subordinates, operations personnel, materials department staff, and counterparts in neighbouring industries, plus contractor and outside vendor employees.
