Job Title: Electrical Engineer 2
Location: Hague, The Netherlands
Contract: 1 year (renewable)
Job Type: Permanent Position
Salary: Euro 3,450 - 5,900 / month
Starting Date: ASAP

Useful Information:
- 30% tax ruling will decrease overall personal income tax liability to approx. 25%-30%
- The Client can help in finding accommodation near the office (NO additional compensation)
- Family status possible
- 13th & 14th month salary
- Paid sick leave
- Good social security
- Living in the centre of The Hague (near the beach)
- Multiply monthly salary by 14 and then calculated 70% for the total nett income per year.
- Good social coverage but no further support for local travel / accommodation.
- Total travel / housing cost assuming dommicile just outside the Hague (¿15-20min commute) will be about 500-850 depending on family status).

JOB DESCRIPTION
Function: Electrical Engineer
Department: Electrical
Reporting: Reports to the Project Manager and Section Leader.

TASKS:
- Has proven to be successful in aforementioned tasks, however, has a much broader technical background.
- Is able to function as Lead Engineer for middle-sized and large projects and is as such responsible for the technical and commercial quality of the work in his/her group.
- Is in the role of Lead Engineer responsible for the overall coordination of the relevant EPC work processes and reports as part of the project management team to the Project Manager.
- Must supervise the entire scope of electrical for large and very large projects, as member of a task force.
- As required, must be able to set up a "General Electrical Specification" if the client is not in possession of a standard specification.
- Reports progress of the work; is responsible for planning and estimating.
- Must be capable of supervising several small projects at one time.
- Ensures that personnel under his/her supervision are up to date on company/project standards and procedures and that they are correctly applied.
- Shows flexibility and ensures proper hand-over with regards to:
- The reassignment to other departments.
- The replacement of colleagues during illness and holidays.
- The provision of assistance to other colleagues with heavy workload (also other projects) when possible/desirable.
- The managing/learning of current/future working methods and software applications.

CERINTE

Education: (Formal Qualifications)
- TH-E level.
- Safety certificates VCA-1 and VCA-2.

Personal Skills: (Other Qualifications)
- Minimum 16 years experience in electrical engineering.
- Written/spoken English.
- Supervision qualities.
- Communicative skills (meetings, reporting).
- Capable of working under stressful situations.
- Experience with the use of PC's and general application software.
- Knowledge of software tools used by the department.
