RESPONSABILITATI

- Design, establish, and follow a process to prepare Drilling programs, plans and procedures in line with Company policy, procedures and local regulations. Cost & risk assessment will form part of the design process.
- Prepare casing, hydraulics, BHA and wellhead selections; mud programmes; bit selection; definition of lithological markers etc.
- Prepare schedule for approved programs, prepare cost estimate, and prepare operative programs including all preparation work required prior to the rig arriving on site.
- Perform technical analyses of well site operational activities to ensure conformance with approved programs and to identify and propose optimization measures.
- Make recommendations for avoiding problems experienced during nonstandard or critical operations.
- Gather, analyses, compile, and disseminate well-cost data for use by the Well Operations Department, and other Departments.
- Provide for planning the required drilling equipment in time. Raise requisitions for materials and equipment in conjunction with the rig schedule.
- Monitor the latest technological developments and initiate the application of promising ones to achieve targets in the best possible way
- Co-ordinate and follow up the preparation of the documentation necessary for obtaining the approval for the new coming projects.
- Contribute to the panning of development projects to optimize the operation procedures, environment and safety
- Update well-cost data on a daily, weekly, monthly and project basis.
- Ensure that well file data is accurate, updated and final well reports analyzed and lessons learned tracked
- Participate in training and development of National staff


CERINTE

Qualifications & Experience

- Have a BS in Petroleum, Mechanical Engineering or Technical high school education.
- At least 6 years experience as Drilling Engineering.
- Prior experience with high pressure and sour gas wells.
- Experience in fields with wells greater than 4000 m in depth.
- Experience in remote areas highly desirable.
- IWCF certificate

Knowledge & Skills:

- Strong analytical approach to the problems, ability to analyse and solve technical and complex problems
- Demonstrated ability to work in an operations team
- Very good oral, presentation and written communications skills in English. Must be able to communicate efficiently with various operational units and with a variety of nationalities and educational levels.
- Have a PC literate with word processing and spreadsheet applications in a Windows environment.
