For our client, a 4 stars hotel with 85 rooms, located just 50 miles from London, we are currently urgently looking to recruit a COUPLE: chef de partie and jr waitress
Hotel description: public rooms include luxurious, comfortable lounges and one elegant dining rooms, where memorable meals are served. Bedrooms are individually styled, beautifully furnished and many have balconies or patios. Some in an adjacent, more private lodge are less traditional in design and have superb views. The professionalism and attentiveness of the staff is exemplary
Responsibilities:
- as a chef de partie you will be responsible to supervise and coordinate and involve yourself in the preparation of international dishes within the hot & cold sections for a la carte and functions!
- as a junior waitress you will be assisting in the a la carte and function service !
Requirements:
For chef de partie: We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for food and who thrives when working under pressure. You will need to be a strong communicator and have the ability to supervise the team ensuring the smooth running of the sections in the absence of sous chef. You will be rewarded with a competitive salary along with career development. Experience in a similar establishment is preferred.
For junior waitress: we are looking for a person with excellent customer service skills and client orientated, flexible, dynamic, team player person, fluent English & at least 1 year experience as waitress within a 4-5 stars hotel or cruise line.
DETAILS ABOUT CONTRACT
1 year working contract with possibility of extension; 14 -16 000 GBP/gross/year (for chef de partie) & 12 -13 .000 GBP/gross/year (for jr waitress) , 45 hours/week, 5 days/week, accommodation provided on site free of charge, meals on duty, 21 days paid holiday,
