RESPONSABILITATI

This position carries and enormous responsibility and is one of our toughest positions. The position requires a very high degree of professionalism, confidence, and knowledge. Excellent communication, customer service, and multi-taking skills are required. Essential Functions: -Greet guests as they arrive and depart in a timely manner -Provide professional level entertainment on guided tour -Interpretive presentation must be given several times per day with enthusiasm -Accommodate guests to ensure they receive prompt, courteous service -Help Teamster with Horses and with Gear -Clean Pavilion and Cabin and make it read for the Guests to arrive -Effectively and positively communicate with guests, employees, and vendors at all times -Diplomatic and prompt handling of guest complaints -Take charge when upper management is unavailable -Ability to work under erratic deadlines and with changing priorities -Complete required reports correctly and in a timely manner -Ability to work a varied schedule -Use basic office equipment such as phone, copy, fax, photo printer -Make sure all guests are accounted for -Report to work in proper clothing, clean, and ready for work -Maintain positive attitude in high stress situations -Go the extra mile/Follow through to ensure guest satisfaction -Other duties as required and as they arise Qualifications: -Ability to remain positive in stressful situation -Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs required -Professional and clean appearance required -Must speak excellent English -Previous experience or education in performing arts strongly preferred -Excellent Customer Service Skills required and public speaking skills -Willingness to learn as much as you can about Black Diamond and Denali Park -Must be Safe and Clean
with a Safety Focus at all Times -Must be Team-oriented worker.

Salary: 9.00$/hour

Overtime: 10.72-15.00$/hour

Are Meals Provided?: yes, Breakfast, lunch, and dinner available for 30% off our menu which is about $3 for breafast, $7 for lunch or dinner. In addition to buying meals in the restaurant all housing has full kitchens
so meals can be made in your home for a lot less money. There is a grocery store walking distance to the housing.

Housing: Mobile Homes We have excellent housing in newly remodeled mobile homes. Employees can have their own room or share a room. We have enough housing for each employee to have here own room.350$/month (utilities included).

Dress Code: Casual,Inside jobs we ask for nice pants and shirts, outside jobs can wear nice jeans.

Our staff has great housing, the views beautiful, you can hike, bike, atv ride, go rafting, sightseeing, golfing, and many other tours for free. Because we are a small company we are truly
an international place and it is a great opportunity to live and work with people from all over the United States and the world! Our staff becomes a family by the end of the season and with things like Facebook and e-mail it is great to keep in touch with people that you meet. We have a lot of j1 students who work for us for two, three, and even four seasons. The most we had was a girl who worked for us for 6 years.

- Our students start work immediately when they arrive and work the same amount of hours every week, at leat 40 hours, unless they ask for specific time off for instance to go on a vacation or are sick. Most students who work for us also have the opportunity to ge a second job if desired.
- Must be 21 years old
- Alaska is a long way to come and can be very expensive to get to so it is important that you choose this job not only to make some money but also for the great adventure! You are coming to remote Alaska and it is very much a wild wilderness experience!
