RESPONSABILITATI

Purpose:
Assists the Commissioning Services Coordinator, ensuring that all EP Onshore & Offshore, Commissioning Budgets are controlled and managed in accordance with approved Company strategy and policy.
To develop as part of the Project Commissioning team a Cost Control function providing accurate cost reporting and control on a range of Commissioning Activities and support Contracts to be awarded by the EP Project Team.
To develop required necessary cost estimates and to ensure these are presented and recorded in a controlled manner.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
The job holder is responsible for:
On a regular basis
- Providing Cost Analysis of the Commissioning discipline and Contractors monthly and other periodic cost and invoicing data.
- Reviewing, analysing and correcting submitted valuation costs prior to authorisation. Check and agree corrected Invoice for approval.
- Challenging incorrect inclusions in Valuations.
- Reviewing Contractors and Vendors commercial performance against Budgets and forecast targets.
- Providing, from analysis of forecasts, status against current Commitments and Budget.
- Preparing Cost Report for Commissioning Activities to include all the above and review with Commissioning Manager, Onshore & Offshore Commissioning Superintendents, Commissioning Services Coordinator and Contract Holder.
- Assisting Commissioning Services Coordinator to compile all the above into the EP Monthly Cost Report.
On an Ad Hoc Basis
The EP Commissioning Team will award a number of Engineering, and other Study Contracts. The Cost Controller will provide the above listed Cost Engineering responsibilities on those Contracts allocated to them for control.
- Supporting Project and Commissioning Engineers in developing estimates and contracts cost control.
- Assisting Commissioning Services Coordinator to ensure all contractors invoices are verified before submission for payment and are fully in compliance with administrative contractual requirements.
Assisting Commissioning Services Coordinator to prepare Annual and Bi-annual Project forecast and Work Plan and Budget costs and phasing.


CERINTE

Qualifications & Experience:
- The job holder should have Technical College or University Education.
- Professional competencies acquired in Cost/Budget control of major Oil&Gas Projects worldwide.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in Cost, Invoicing or Finance functions - preferably in the oil & gas industries.
- Experience in working for a Major Oil Company or a Contractor providing services to one, would be preferable.
- Familiarity and experience of Cost and Financing Procedures.
- Familiarity with Cost Budget spreadsheet development and Cost Reporting formats.
