Job description:
You will work in a highly motivated team working together with our customers in the Nordic and Baltic region providing them with communication network solutions and services adapted to their current and future needs. In your role you will be responsible for the design, implementation and support of these solutions. You will also play an important part in the sales- and bidding process where you provide technical sales support. In this position you will interface with our customers, project managers, global support center, R&D and sales teams.
Responsibilities:
- Packet Switched (PS) Core Network design. High and Low Level Design (HLD/LLD).
- Rollout activities and Acceptance testing of networks and/or their elements.
- Provide the contracted customer support services according to established processes like,
- Emergency support, CSR handling, Software upgrading, Network maintenance.
- Technical sales support activities.
Mandatory qualifications:
- University degree in communication Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree.
- Fluent in English.
Desireable qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge in routing protocols like OSPF, IS-IS and BGP.
- Advanced knowledge in Routers, Switches and Firewalls in large networks.
- Experience from 2G/3G mobile networks, and elements like SGSN and GGSN.
- Understanding of MPLS, SIGTRAN, ATM, SDH, RADIUS and DNS.
- Able to travel and work in a multicultural environment.
- Well developed written and oral communication skills, including the ability to liaise with people at all levels of the organisation.
- Well developed interpersonal skills.
