Communicate with the TID -, Design/Survey -, Yard -, Laboratory - and W/shop Manager to ensure that the required services of those Departments are provided in time
Coordinate all the construction activities
Enforce all the implementation of DC and safety procedures
Dispose work force, equipment and material in coordination with the Project Manager
Planning of required employment of all junior staff and laborers
Assist the Project Manager during negotiation of subcontracts
Compare the monthly progress from planned to actual
Initiate purchase of local materials after approval by Project Manager
Initiate variations in cooperation with Quantity Survey Section and the Project Manager
Communicate with the Engineers representative and subcontractors working on site
- The Construction Manager has the overall responsibility for the timely and orderly execution of all construction works;
- He reports to the Project Manager.
