A well-known multinational company is now looking for Controls Systems Manager to join their fast growing team.
YOUR JOB TASKS:
- Set group strategy
- Manage day-to-day operations of group including projects, personnel, program resources, capital planning
- Develop technical solutions to business needs
- Communicate effectively to a broad range of technical and non-technical audiences including external customers, partners, certification/qualification authorities and technical committees and forum
- Pursue outside funding opportunities that aid or embellish relevant technical capabilities for the division
- University or Doctorate Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering, Mechanical
- EU citizenship required
- Strong interest in research and development
- 5-8 years experience as technical contributor
- 1-3 years experience managing large and/or complete technical programs
- Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, Modern control Theory, Communication, Navigation Systems, Video/lidar/RF aiding, embedded system design is a plus
- Experience in working with academia on joint industry/academic research projects
- Experience in bidding on and managing government-funded research projects desirable
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent English
- Willingness to travel
