• ensure that all Civil works are executed in accordance with Company procedures/practices
• approval of concrete mix designs in accordance with Company’s rules
• handling all Civil Technical queries and investigating all field related problems including the drawing of field sketches, when necessary, in accordance with Company’s rules
• ensuring fully detailed documentation of all Civil activities are raised and completed prior to handover
• maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel working on the job site
• coordinating with Engineering and Construction and liaise with the Client on detail engineering requirements
• developing schemes and estimates for both construction works and design manpower requirements for new works
• developing job specifications and documentation for contract tender documents for minor local subcontract packages
• carrying out site surveys and producing a construction plan for all civil activities
• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
• relevant experience in a similar position; experience in oil & gas industry would be a plus
• fluent knowledge of written / spoken English
• excellent communication skills
• computer literacy in order to use design, drawing and word processing software
