The jobholder, as Shift Manager, is responsible for the running of the shift in co-ordination with the DCS Engineer and Field Operators, ensuring that product parameters and safety requirements are maintained.
The position will be responsible to the Production Manager.
Experience - 8 - 12 Years of experience in a Petrochemical / Polymer plant
OR
Diploma Holder in Chemical Engineering with operation experience out of which 3-4 years should have been spent in charge of a shift.
The following are additional requirements:
-Process knowledge of petrochemical plant
- Must have worked in DCS and PLC system of control
- Knowledge of resolving operational problems
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Leadership Capability
- Thorough knowledge of safety practices
- Capable of identifying improvement schemes relating to
operations, energy and safety
Above average knowledge of English is essential.
The position requires the jobholder to be a good coach and guide to the entire workforce during his shift. He should be well versed in training methodology, in case so required, to train the local professionals
The salary, including all allowances, will be likely to be between Euros 2000 - 2600 net.
Bonus paid annually and EPLIS every 6 months.
Leave to home town is paid 3 times per year for 26 days for each visit.
There is no availability for overtime.
