Our client is a major multinational group acting in the automotive field, looking for a Calibration Team Leader with the following responsibilities:
- the working location will be in Italy and the labour contract is unlimited;
The candidate will be responsible for the activities for the definition of global calibration requirements (macro planning analysis; global development activity definition; project status analysis; interface with integration; cooperation for the definition of the core calibration strategies)
Lead, define and coordinate calibration activities (lead calibration activities and software updates, both at the test bench and the roll bench; coordination of the test design and of the test itself; new EMS functionalities definition; coordination of EMS supplier activities and new control functions development; request for the scrapping of engine parts and components; request for the shipment of engines, engine parts and components; base engine performance analysis)
Test validation activities (test report analysis and approval)
Calibration assessment and consolidation of development results; Final calibration release
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent culture
4-5 years experience in automotive companies or R&D centers in the area
of calibration or in the development of combustion, after-treatment and emission systems
Good knowledge of the Diesel Engine management systems and after treatment management systems (DPF, LNT)
Knowledge of testing instrumentations as well as tests facilities
Knowledge of tools for the calibration development (INCA or Helios)
Preferably knowledge of ECU development tools (Ascet or DSpace) and simulation (Simulink)
Good knowledge of English (spoken/written)
Leadership attitude is also required
