You will:
- drive projects to identify control issues in new and on-going processes, and implement solutions to address them. Provide consulting on accounting controls and promote awareness of and compliance with sound business control practices.
- work with Business Center teams to ensure sound business control practices;
- provide accounting consulting/guidance as necessary in US GAAP
- develop, deploy, document and maintain standard self-audit programs and tools around the world;
- support global managers in coordinating internal and external audit engagements
- Coordinates Sarbanes-Oxley related activities within BPO centers located in Europe;
- track status of post-audit activities for management review
- pro-actively identify risks and control issues in new and on-going processes and recommends solutions;
- lead cross-organization projects to effect improvement in business controls;
- Identify and implement worldwide processes and tools to facilitate tracking of business controls;
- support business control review process for management;
- participate in other activities supporting the implementation and maintenance of HP BPO¿s business control program.
- Background in Business/economics
- Certified Public Accountant with minimum of three years experience in public accounting or equivalent
- Sound understanding of audit function
- Experience with US GAAP accounting system
- Demonstrated leadership in identifying financial and process control issues and in recommending solutions to address them
- Awareness of quality control programs
- Strong analytical skills. Self starter
- Demonstrated planning, organizing and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Strong presentation skills, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in use of MS Word, Excel, Power Point
