ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Must be fully familiar with all aspects of the FC ticketing system and how iTV will
work with the FC ticketing system.
• Has full understanding of the entertainment options available to guests; times,
locations and durations of shows, show content and any costs involved.
• Displays exceptional customer service and guest resolution skills to deal with any
issues that may arise.
• Displays strong diplomatic and negotiation skills to prevent conflict that may arise in
certain situations. Should conflict become a factor, resolving the situation needs to
be done in a most professional and discreet manner.
• Develops a strong understanding of the telephone system used at the Box Office to
answer guest concerns and prioritize calls.
• Informs the Box Office Manager and Guest Service Manager of any issues that may
arise so they can log and track guest concerns.
• Works closely with the Concierge and Casino Host to take care of the VIP guests’
needs.
• Processes in conjunction with the Group Service Coordinator any group requests
when space is available.
• Monitors the digital signage to make sure it is correct in the area of the Box Office
and entertainment venues. If appropriate directs the Digi Signage Technician to
update with acurate messaging.
• Provides great serrvice to guests when checking them into venues and understands
the support roles for all shows and ensures they are met.
• Has the ability to work with large crowds and contraol situations with strong
communication techniques.
• Required to attend and contribute where applicable to any departmental or ship
meetings.
• Maintain a close working relationship with department heads and keep them
informed of any necessary changes to the Box Office hours or operations.
• Must be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and the SEMS,
and carry out the policies and procedures appropriate for his/her position.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Requires 1 year of experience working with a ticketing system as a Box Office
attendant
OR
• Requires 1 year of experience on cruise ships as a cruise staff host or working in a
customer service role in a hotel or resort
EDUCATION
• Minimum education is a high school completion or equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• While performing the essential functions of this job, all team members are required
to stand; walk long distances on the ship; use hands to touch, handle or feel; reach
with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell. All vessel positions require
repetitive motion of bending, climbing, going up and down stairs and lifting more
than 25 pounds. This job requires specific vision abilities to include close vision,
distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust
focus.
• All team members must be physically able to participate in emergency life saving
procedures and drills. All vessel positions require full use and range of arms and legs
as well as full visual, verbal and hearing abilities to receive and give instructions in
the event of an emergency including the lowering of lifeboats.
• Work within different temperature changes—indoors to outdoors.
• Able to pass basic safety course.
• This is a minimal description of duties. Other work requirements may be necessary
and assigned as business or maritime law dictates.
