You will provide customer care at home living with them 4-5 weeks, after which you will have 1-2 weeks of rest. During this time you can go to your country, or you can stay in UK in this perioud
Working hours are 7 days a week, 2 hours break each day.Effective working time (person care, cleaning, preparing meals) is 6-8 hours per day.In the rest of the time, you can undertake other activities in the house , being ready to answer customer requests ( to be „on call”)
Responsibilities:
To live with the elderly person 24h/day, 7 days per week
To assist the elderly persons with their personal needs like personal hygeine, washing, changing their clothes etc.
To assist them in taking their meals
To help them change the position in bed in order to avoid bedsores
To change incontinence pads
To administer the treatment prescribed by their doctor
To change beds, tidy resident’s rooms and do light cleaning
To cook their meals when needed
To go shopping
Good (conversational level of English)
Strong motivation to work with ill elderly people
Self-confident in order to drive on the left side of the road
Experience is not required as full training will be provided, but you should be highly motivated to train and work in the care industry
-gross salary is £350 - £426.50/wk and the net is £280 - £335/week (£1220 - £1450/month) depending on the difficulty of caring for customers ( some people need you to wake up at night to accompany them to the toilet, change them,etc)
