Being responsible for bookkeeping of a portfolio of client companies;
Executing the economic information necessary for financial controlling of client companies;
Providing assistance on financial, compliance, and operational audits in accordance with accepted professional standards;
Assisting in the process of evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls;
Executing detailed audit procedures, including reviewing transactions, document, records, reports, and policies and procedures for accuracy and effectiveness;
Preparing work papers which record and summarize audit procedures performed;
Assisting in developing recommendations for corrective actions.
On behalf of our client, an international company which provides tax advice, legal advice, bookkeeping services, audit services and management services to different companies we are looking for Accountant. The role is based in Nicosia – Cyprus.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics – Accounting, Auditing;
Two years of relevant experience in accounting, controlling, audit;
Very good written, presentational and oral communication in English;
PC skills – user, previous experience with accounting software is an advantage;
Ideal candidate would be dynamic, mobile, self-motivated, confident, persuasive, presentable, initiative, flexible, team player, intelligent, systematic and hard-worker.
